Declaration Of War was an impressive winner of the 2013 Queen Anne Stakes as he was delivered late by Joseph O'Brien and propelled clear in the closing stages to land the coveted Group One prize on the opening day of Royal Ascot, in a race that saw hot favourite Animal Kingdom flop and finish towards the back of the field.
Aljamaaher and Gregorian sprinted to the front in the final furlong, but O'Brien managed to manufacture his way through the field and went on to win by three-quarters-of-a-length to land the spoils at 15/2 with Aljamaaheer finishing second and Gregorian completing the placings.
