John Gosden's Remote lived up to all the hype that was surrounding him going into a cracking reneal of the Tercentenary Stakes as the well-backed 9/4 favourite produced a cracking performance to land the Group Three prize on the third day of Royal Ascot.

William Buick was always travelling well in behind the leaders, but he was forced to get busy on his raider in the closing stages and he duly went in search of the front-running Van Der Neer and Windhoek and he duly pounced late on and then held off a late burst from French raider Shikarpour to land the honours.

The Hampton Court is run over the 1 mile 2 furlong course with Zaham going off the 7/2 favourite. In the race Kid Mambo led the field with Zaham in second stalking the leader with Tranquil Tiger going well on the inside but Zaham took it up in the final furlong but Kid Mambo fought back and Al Shemali was finishing best of all on the outside but Zaham just held on by a head for a third winning favourite on the day.
