Ryan Moore produced a peach of a ride on board the Sir Michael Stoute-trained Hillstar as he reeled in the heavily-backed Battle Of Marengo to land the King Edward VII Stakes on the fourth day at Royal Ascot and land the spoils for the Freemasons Lodge team at 15/2.
Joseph O'Brien kicked for hom very early on his Ballydoyle raider and he pulled a few lengths clear, but Moore got his challenger kicking off the final bend and he gradually ate into the favourite's lead and swamped him in the closing stages to land the spoils.

Father Time provided legendary trainer, Henry Cecil with his 71st winner at Royal Ascot when winning the race known in some circles as the Ascot Derby. Ridden superbly by Eddie O'Herne, he was held up until the final furlong then unleashed and won with plenty to spare from the fast finishing Your Old Pal, with Derby flop, Black Bear Island in third.
