Aidan O'Brien trained another Ascot Gold Cup winner as Leading Light fought off a spirited effort from 2013 heroine Estimate and the Irish challenger Missunited in what was a sensational finish of the 2m 4f marahton, as the Ballydoyle raider produced a terrific run round the outside to fend off the aforementioned duo.

Estimate handed Her Majesty The Queen a win in the Ascot Gold Cup as the Sir Michael Stoute-trained raider produced a terrific staying effort to get the better of Simenon in what was a thrilling finish to the marathon prize.
Ryan Moore travelled in behind the leaders for most of the way and he duly sent Estimate to the front, but in the closing stages the cavalry were coming from behind and Simenon was staying on the best, but the 7/2 favourite managed to hold on to land the spoils in what were emotional scenes at Royal Ascot.
